The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently visiting the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services for the community.
SASSA will likely be rendering companies like new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer care enquiries, plus the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.
In a press release, the agency mentioned it's alarmed concerning the superior quantity of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The purpose of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to your substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.
“This really is mainly because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office committed to service the area on a daily basis.
